Rice / Texas Quizbowl Alliance Fall Tournament
Date: October 25, 2003
Location: Rice University, Houston Texas
Divisions: Varsity and Junior Varsity
We won't hold by the 41 rule. Basically I trust you to make an honest assessment of your students abilities. I will ask you to submit a roster with grades...if I get something that looks weird (like 4 seniors) I will question what level of experience those seniors have. Somewhere there is a group of 4 seniors more deserving on JV consideration than a group of 4 sophomores...I just want to make sure that all the kids are put in proper divisions so they may be challenged without being overmatched.Fee Structure:
$80 Base Fee, -$5 Buzzer, -$10 Getting Check in by Oct 15
