Blue-Gray Gnatcatcher

"Blue-gray above and white below, the aptly blue-gray
gnatcatcher is a little more than four inches long. A good portion
of that length is the black tail, which has white outer feathers

mockingbird, although without the white patches in the wings."
This individual is a very close match to the one Tveten
pictures on page 284.
