Research Assistant for laboratory drug-behavioral studies.
This position can be either part-time (week ends) or full-time (regular 40 hr week). Studies are being conducted with rodents and primates concerning the rewarding effects of drugs. This is an excellent position for students
interested in psychology, neuroscience, or medical school. The position
features important opportunities to learn research skills and possibly

Undergraduate Pre-Clinical Research Internship/ Independent Study
Responsibilities include assisting with neuropsychological testing, scheduling participants for research protocols, and data management. A term paper will be expected at the end of each semester; interns also need to purchase an individual malpractice insurance policy (~$100/year). It would be helpful if applicants have completed coursework in abnormal and/or developmental psychology, but these courses are not essential. Class credit (as independent study) is available for applicants.
