WELCOME

Welcome to Q&A's website! Our purpose is to:

• offer support and promote education, awareness, and advocacy of GLBTQA (Gay-Lesbian-Bisexual-Transgender-Questioning-Allied) issues;
• support these individuals by providing a psychological and physical safe-space;
• supply resources and create programming to further campus wide understanding and harmony;
• reach out to and involve ourselves with local, national, and international social and advocacy organizations.

Q&A meetings are normally held every other week: check the events page for dates and locations. If you have ideas about activities, meeting topics, fundraisers, etc. we would love to hear from you. Or if you have any questions about being gay at Rice, or you just want to chat, feel free to e-mail one of us—contact information is all on the contacts page.

Note: You do not have to be GLBTQ to be involved with Q&A! We have many straight members, and we very much appreciate their participation.

NOTICE: Pride is open to all currently enrolled Rice undergraduate and graduate students and their guests as well as students of other local universities at the invitation of the membership. It is not, in any way, intended to be a "dating service" for non-members. The comfort and safety of our members is of great importance.
