2002 Olympic Torch Run

Calling all students, faculty, and staff. Come for free Coke and snacks and be part of the Olympic Torch Run on Monday, December 10th. We are hoping for a colorful display and an enthusiastic, cheering crowd as the torch passes through our campus. Rice t-shirts, college banners, and American flags are appropriate for this event. Meet in Founder's Court at 4:30 pm. (This is the lawn in front of Lovett Hall.) We will form spirit lines on Founder's Court for the torchbearer to pass through as he exits the Sallyport. We expect a lot of media coverage for this event, so come and show your support and you may even end up on TV!!!
