Aegean Club
The Aegean Club is the Greek interest club of Rice University. Its scope is to bring together
students and faculty members from Rice University, interested in Greek culture. Students from
the greater Houston area are also welcome in this club. The club was founded in September 1995.

Caribbean Student Society
The Caribbean Students' Society at Rice was founded five years ago by
enthusiastic students who wanted to expose Rice to the rich cultures of the
Caribbean region. Every year since then we have put on a Cultural Show in
March/April. This year's show featured Latin Caribbean and African pieces as
well. The past year also saw CSS participating in various activities with the
Caribbean Students Organization at the University of Houston including an 'Ivan
Hurricane Relief Clothing Drive' and a 'Fall Picnic'. The CSS is about having
fun and representing the wonderful Caribbean region in the broadest way

Scholars Club Rice Chinese Students & Scholars Club is a
students and scholars organization with a history of more than ten
years. The mission of RCSSC is to promote the communication among the
Chinese students and scholars at Rice University, to enrich the school

The International Student Association is

Iranian
Society
Our mission is to promote the Iranian culture amongst both Iranian and
non-Iranian individuals at Rice University and the Houston area. Provide
a central meeting place for any Rice students, faculty, and
professionals interested in the Iranian people or culture. Our club is
interested in meeting new Iranians and people interested in the Iranian
culture. To encourage this interaction we will schedule and participate
in various events--social gatherings, movies, concerts, presentations

Japanese Association of Students & Scholars
The Japanese Association of Students & Scholars strives to bring
together members of the Rice community who share an interest in the

The Korean Student Association
is a group of Rice students interested in the korean culture, language,
and customs. We exist for the building of friendships and improvement in
communication among the students, faculty, and staff who are interested.

Rice Taiwanese Student Association The Rice Taiwanese Student Association (TSA) is composed of undergraduate and graduate students, and scholars from Taiwan. Our primary goal is serving and helping Taiwanese students. We provide information to help Taiwanese students come to Houston and feel comfortable living here as well as we seek to establish a networking between current students, alumni, faculty, and staff at Rice.

Taiwanese Association
Composed mainly of undergraduate students interested in enjoying and
learning about Taiwanese culture, the Rice Taiwanese Association is both
a cultural and social organization. RTA promotes the culture and
heritage of Taiwan by sponsoring study breaks and other opportunities
for everyone to learn aspects of Taiwanese history, language, music, and
