Welcome to the Rice Chapter of the National Society of Collegiate Scholars!

NSCS is a national honor society dedicated to the principles of scholarship, leadership, and service. The organization provides its members with many more opportunities than a typical honor society, however. Through scholarships, community service events, connections to graduate schools and corporate partners, and a steadfast commitment to integrity, NSCS goes beyond expectation to give students a well-rounded, valuable experience that can benefit them for a lifetime.

To be invited to join NSCS, students must have a GPA above 3.4 and be ranked in the top 20 percent of their freshman or sophomore class. Invitations are sent out in the spring semester of each year.

The Rice University Chapter holds frequent networking and service events on and around campus. We invite you to explore our website and discover all that Rice NSCS can do for you!
