At present, there is no PhD or Masters degree in Neuroscience offered at Rice, although this may change.
Graduate students may study neuroscience at Rice by enrolling in a degree program in one of the participating departments at Rice (see elsewhere on this website) and registering for courses within that department, within other participating Rice departments, or registering for the courses offered through Baylor College of Medicine and other institutions of the Texas Medical Center. At present, Rice offers no degree in Neuroscience, so graduate students would receive their degrees from the departments in which they are enrolled. There is discussion about initiating graduate degrees in neuroscience in the future.
