Music Library Association, 1999 Walter Gerboth Award, an award made annually to music librarians in the first five years of their careers to assist research in progress, $1,000 to support a research project sponsored by the Music Library Association involving the administration of the Wisconsin-Ohio Reference Evaluation Program Survey in music libraries.

Academic Library Association of Ohio, 1998 Research Award, $500 to help fund a book-length annotated research bibliography to be published by Greenwood Press, on the subject of the Mozart-Da Ponte operas (The Marriage of Figaro, Don Giovanni, and Cosė fan tutte.
