The Impulse Artist Series All-Stars Benefit Concert

On Tuesday evening, February 6th at 8:00pm The Impulse Artist Series will present its first benefit concert titled The Impulse Artist Series All-Stars Benefit Concert. In the first ever event of its kind to be produced in Houston, the concert will feature Houston-based professional and concert pianists including international concert artist Jon Kimura Parker, Nancy Weems of the University of Houston and Scott Holshouser of the Houston Symphony. Joining them will be other concert artists and pianists from the most prominent arts organizations and universities in the city. All will grace the stage in Zilkha Hall for one unforgettable recital. John Cornelius: ASCAP composer/pianist, The Houston Ebony Opera; Timothy Hester: Houston-based concert pianist, faculty of the UH Moores School of Music; Scott Holshouser: Pianist for The Houston Symphony; Jon Kimura Parker: International concert artist, faculty of Rice University’s Shepherd School of Music; Jane Perkyns: Associate professor of piano at Texas Southern University; Clive Swansbourne: Houston-based concert pianist, Beethoven Specialist; and Nancy Weems: Chair of University of Houston’s Moores School of Music
