Time There are 11 demos and 2 posters. The demo and poster session (13:00-14:45pm) will start immediately after lunch (12-1pm). The authors should set up the demonstrations and posters during the lunch time. Format and WinCool Contest Out of the 11 demos, 9 demos are participants in the WinCool demo contest (The two non-competing demos are contributions from the conference chairs). There are five judges for the contest, who will be move around like the rest of the audience from one demo to another. Considering the time limit, each judge (or group of judges, in case they decide to form a group) will have no more than 10 minutes to spend on each demo. This format allows you to adapt your presentations to each judge's interests. The contest will be judged based on three main criteria : novelty & utility of the proposed concept, how well the demo demonstrates the concept and the potential impact of the concept. While each demo entrant is free to choose their mode of presentation, we recommend using a mix of posters (see below for available facilities) and laptop presentations (no projector, the audience will be standing around the demo) in addition to actual demo hardware. Focus on making clear presentations, ensuring that all major points for judging are addressed. While there are 2 posters and 2 demos which are not part of the contest, we recommend the same format for them. We expect that conference participants will visit all entries and the presenters are recommended to arrive with a well-rehearsed 3-5 minutes presentation. The demo judges are (tentative list)
