Honors Program

The Honors program consists of taking two additional courses from:

MANA 497, 498 (F/S) - Independent Research
ECON 440 (S) -Advanced Game Theory
ECON 445 (S) - Managerial Economics
ECON 449 (F) - Basics of Financial Engineering
STAT 486 (F) - Methods in Computational Finance I: Market Models
STAT 421 (S) - Methods in Computational Finance II: Time Series

(F = Course offered in the Fall semester, S = Course offered in the Spring semester)

MANA 497 and 498 are offered in collaboration with selected Faculty in the Jesse H. Jones Graduate School of Management. Admission to these courses must be approved by a participating Faculty member. A list of participating Faculty and their research interests is available from the Director of Managerial Studies.

To apply for admission to the Honors program, students must have completed eight of the regular Managerial Studies courses and have a B+ (3.33) average in those courses. All applications must be approved by the Director of Managerial Studies.
