LRC Welcomes Refugees

The Partnership for the Advancement & Immersion of Refugees (PAIR) works together with the Language Resource Center (LRC) to develop computer literacy and English language skills of international refugees in the Houston area.

The LRC's doors are open to international refugees with whom PAIR is working Saturday afternoons during the academic year. PAIR and the LRC work together on this and other projects designed to lead refugees to information and resources that can be used to help them excel in the community.

PAIR is a Rice University student organization whose goal is to facilitate the advancement and immersion of international refugees by providing information and creating partnerships that maximize opportunities and resources for these new United States residents.
