Videotapes and Copying
PLEASE READ!
1) If teachers come to the lab asking us to convert a personal
tape for them from a different format to NTSC format, they have
to give us a blank videotape, because we do not supply any. We can
only copy non-copyright-protected tapes in the NTSC (american) format,
such as the teacher's own work.
2) If they ask us to make a NTSC format copy from a videotape for
their class, we can only do so if we own the original tape. They
have to sell or donate the original tape to the lab. We can't reimburse
them if they don't have the receipt.
3) Please do not forget to fill in the work request form completely
and label the original and the blank tape before starting to make
a copy.
