Installing the Simplified (Mainland) Chinese Keyboard on a
personal Windows XP computer
1-7. Follow the directions for Steps 1-7
to Install International
Keyboards for 2000 or XP.
8. Make sure the Input Language is Chinese (PRC)
9. Check the Keyboard Layout / IME box (if not checked) and select
Chinese (Simplified) – Microsoft Pinyin IME 3.0.
10. Click OK until the dialog boxes disappear.
