"Our Energy Future"
 
Professors Steve Klineberg and George Hirasaki have volunteered to lead different views on the future of the world's energy supply.

Dr. Klineberg's Argument:
  1. The petroleum era is over.
  2. Developing countries should use solar and wind for their energy needs.

Dr. Hirasaki's Argument:
  1. Consumers will use the most economical source of energy.
  2. Developed countries should not expect developing countries to use more expensive sources of energy.

Both these points have valid arguments, and below is an article that may also shed some light on the topic:


Feel free to collect any thoughts and ideas and bring them to the meeting on Monday, April 3rd. The location is at the Lovett House (House of the Masters of Lovett College), at lunch (12:00 PM). Lunch - a sandwich tray, chips, and drinks - will be provided. All Associates and Students of Lovett College are invited.
