I am an Associate Professor and the Director of Graduate Studies in the Department of Political Science at Rice University.  My research focuses on comparative political institutions, legislative politics, political economy, and coalition government.  I teach courses on European politics, parties and elections, legislatures, and statistical methods.  For more details on my research and teaching interests, follow the links above.
