Research
Research and development of HPCToolkit for measurement
and analysis of application performance. Measurement, analysis and
tuning of important science and engineering applications at the
direction of the DOE Office of Science as part of the SciDAC PERI
project. Research, development, and evaluation of programming models
for scalable parallel systems. This work on both global view
programming models (related to DARPA's HPCS program) and partitioned
global address space languages, including UPC and Co-array Fortran.
Interests
- Performance analysis and modeling
- FOMPI, static analysis enhanced with runtime analysis for execution environemnt (previous work)
- HPCToolkit, a software package from Rice University
- Compiler analysis, transformation and optimization
- Open64 open source compiler
- Tools development
- HPCViewer: Eclipse rich client platform (RCP) based application. Still ongoing work.
- Some previous tools: FOMPI-client (UH), x-ecce, japro, visual logen, Pro-B (Soton)
