1997 National Honor Society Annual Meeting Phi Beta Kappa has been assisting the National Honor Society with annual meetings of their high school members. In November 1997, four faculty members selected by the Rice University chapter conducted a panel and breakout session on the Annual Meeting theme, "Will Science be the Salvation of Society?" The event was a huge success.
