The Library of Medieval Women series makes available significant works by and about medieval women, from the age of the Church Fathers to the seventeenth century. The subjects of these translations range from theology and mysticism to classical mythology, medicine and science, history and hagiography; the literary forms include epic poems and dramas, memoirs and visions, biography and autobiography, letters, sermons, treatises, and encyclopedias.
