Dear Friends, I, on behalf of Indian Students at Rice (ISAR), warmly congratulate you on your admission to Rice University. Marked by its beautiful campus, stimulating research atmosphere and close-knit circle of faculty and students, Rice is truly a special place to be. Some of you are visiting the US for the first time; for some of you, this may even be your first extended stay away from home. We at ISAR wish to make this transition as smooth as possible. As a first step, I've compiled a "Starter Pack" that will serve as a useful guide for your journey to Houston and for your first few days here. To facilitate this process, please fill out this “online form” for airport pickup at Houston and furnish us with all your flight details. In the same form, you will be asked to indicate whether you have already secured housing for the coming year. If you have not, please contact us as soon as possible.
