Rice University charges the lowest tuition of any highly selective
private college or university in the United States.

Rice guarantees that
tuition increases for continuing undergraduates will not exceed
the rate of inflation. Once you enroll, your tuition will not
increase by more than the Consumer Price Index.

Rice graduating seniors
have by far the lowest debt burden of seniors at any highly selective
college or university in the United States. For class of 2004, a
cap of $2,475 has been set on student loans in financial aid packages,
thus generating a total of no more than $9,900 in need-based students
loans over four years at Rice.
