VARSITY ATHLETICS
Rice is a charter member of the Southwest Conference and is a member of NCAA Division I-A. In 1994-95, 320 Rice students competed in NCAA intercollegiate athletics at the varsity level. Beginning in 1996, Rice will compete as a member of the Western Athletic Conference.
