During the
summer of 2002, members of HMO and our partner organizations will travel to
Western Kenya to oversee he construction of the clinic and participate in
several other humanitarian programs. The Kabula Clinic Project has two
phases: Phase #1 is the construction of the physical facility, which will
open temporarily as a health education center. This will be completed by the
end of the summer of 2002. Phase #2 is the conversion of the health education
center into the full healthcare facility, and this will take place during the
summer of 2003.
