  2. Read, understand and learn personal pronouns and simple present and simple past tense of the verb honaa [You may also refer to Snell #1.1 pg 21 and #4.1 pg. 51. (Ignore the sentences given as examples in this section.)]
  3. Go over the song meraa jootaa hai jaapaanii. Go over the lyrics, vocabulary, unscrambled lyrics and sing along sections on the site.

  1. For Tuesday, Sep 19: Tuesday writing ("lekh"): Write a simple conversation between two or more people. Use a variety of greeting forms and ways to address eachother. Play with the vocabulary and phrase structures from "Introductory phrases 1 & 2" and from "Simple conversation". Make it interesting.
  2. For Wednesday Sept. 20: go over entire Text 1 from the file text , including the vocabulary and grammar four to five times. Read the text with minimal reference to the transliteration.
  3. For Thursday Sept. 21: do the ExTemplate exercise: "Parichay 1" by 2pm.
