Score Reading (Advanced)
Look at the score below, and analyze it for content, color, and line. Click it to hear a MIDI version. If you do not have a MIDI player, use the Back button on your browser to return to the main page, go to Resources, and follow the instructions to obtain free MIDI player software. After you have become familiar with the score, click the MIDI buttons below it to hear the various performances. After listening to all five, click the answer button that corresponds to the correct reading. If your answer is correct, you will be told so. If not, you will go to a score page which contains the errors, for comparison, and which will allow you to hear that (incorrect) version and the original, also for comparison. From there, if you wish, you can go to a page which corrects that version, or return to the previous page to try again, or continue to Error Detection Exercise 2. Have fun!
