Description of Officer Duties
President
- Organize, plan, and implement activities to ensure the continuation and overall success of the chapter
- Call meetings of officers and chapter members and delegate responsibilities as needed
- Manage planning and implementation of a successful reception
Vice President (may be split into two offices)
- plan and organize campus awareness
- plan and organize community service projects
Recording Secretary
- Record meeting minutes
- Mail member profiles to international headquarters
- Assist historian as chapter archivist
Corresponding Secretary
- Conduct all chapter correspondence
- Prepare and deliver reception invitations to administration and faculty
- Prepare and mail information to international headquarters for publications such as CONCEPTS and Key Notes
- Act as liaison between the chapter and the international student representative
Treasurer
- Manage all financial transactions
- Prepare a budget for the chapter
- Receive and distribute chapter funds (scholarships)
- Investigate sources of local funding or initiate fund-raising activities
- Report financial activity to chapter advisor on a monthly basis
- Submit an annual financial report to international headquarters
- Assist the vice president in campus awareness planning
Historian
- Document all chapter correspondence
- Maintain photo album
- Assist president and advisor in completion of international awards application
