
The Clyde Ferguson Bull Fellowship Program
Miss Clyde Ferguson Bull (a French major in the Class of 1926) endowed a fund that provides a fellowship for a student to spend the junior year studying in France in a program approved by the Department of French Studies. The fellowship for the year 2008-2009 is $15,000. The recipient is expected to spend the entire academic year in France.
To be eligible:
Students who wish to apply can download the application or pick up an application in the office of the Department of French Studies (RH 207) or in the plastic clip on the doors of the undergraduate advisors (RH 224; RH211). The application must be returned to the department office no later than January 22, 2008.
The candidates will be interviewed in French the following week. Since deadlines for study abroad normally are about March 1, it is important that you talk to your parents about spending a year in Paris during the Christmas break.
