Office of the President
The President's Lectures Series Committee invites your nominations for speakers. The Committee
seeks "celebrities of substance:" speakers of the highest intellectual distinction and accomplishment
with strong name recognition and broad public appeal. The PLS includes the DeMenil Lecture
focused on the arts, the Martin Luther King Lecture focused on civil rights, the Science lecture, and
the General lecture, for topics that do not fit the other three categories. We're very grateful for your
