The President's Lecture Series

The President's Lecture Series

Each year, the President’s Lecture Series brings to the Rice University campus a variety of stimulating speakers on a range of topics. Rice is pleased to offer this series as a means of enhancing the intellectual life not only of the Rice community, but of our neighbors throughout the city of Houston.

All lectures will be presented in the Grand Hall of the Rice Memorial Center (building 57 on the campus map), except the lecture by Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam, which will be presented in Stude Concert Hall in Alice Pratt Brown Hall ( building B on the campus map ) Seating opens at 7 p.m., and the lectures begin at 8 p.m.

Admission to all lectures is free of charge. Paid visitor parking is available in the Central Campus Garage and in the nearby North Lot. Free parking is available on the west side of campus in the Greenbriar Lot.

For a campus map, visit www.rice.edu/maps/maps.html.

The President’s Lecture Series is sponsored by the Office of the President and is supported by the J. Newton Rayzor Lecture Fund.
