4 8 p.m.
Alumni Evening on the Central Quad
A casual gathering for alumni, friends and families. Enjoy light fare and libations, magic and balloon artists, "wearable light" (light necklaces, rings) and the great sounds of Kevin Charles and his band. Kevin's music will span the decades with tunes old and new. This family friendly event is fun for everyone. Stop by at any point 4 8 p.m. to enjoy this evening gathering.
Though there is no charge, reservations are requested.

35th Reunion Party at the Taylors
Meet for cocktails and a light buffet at 8 p.m. This historic home provides a remarkable venue for a Rice celebration. Friends and classmates, excellent fare and live music (conversation friendly) will make this memorable evening complete.

Take the Tour
Meet at the Sallyport for mimosas and start your tour of campus.
Wear your walking shoes and view the buildings of Rice old and new.

Rice Alumni Barbecue
Right next to Tailgate Owley, the Alumni Barbecue is the place to be. With Goode Company cook'in and fix'ins, suds and iced tea, there is a place at the table for everyone alumni, family and friends. Space bouncers for the kids and a bit of county western music make this a truly entertaining pregame lunch for all. Barbecue will be served continuously Noon 2 p.m.
The Rice vs. Tulane kick-off is scheduled for 2:30 p.m.
Barbecue tickets for alumni and friends are $15. Barbecue tickets for children under 12 are $10.

Homecoming Luncheon
Dore Commons in James A. Baker III Hall provides a sophisticated venue for this pregame event. A catered fall buffet offers an excellent dining experience accompanied by favorites St. Arnold, Shiner, "red" and "white." Lunch will be served continuously Noon 2 p.m.
The Rice vs. Tulane kick-off is scheduled for 2:30 p.m.
Luncheon tickets for alumni and friends are $35.

Seventies Celebration at the Rice University Art Gallery
Time to party with light fare and libations! The bar and buffet stations will be open for your enjoyment 7 10 p.m. A seventies cover band will bring back the tunes from evenings past at Rice and the gallery will delight you with the work of El Anatsui.
(As of October 8, the gallery has extended the installation of Wayne White until Decemebr 13
The work of El Anatsui will be exhibited January 28 - March 14, 2010)
