An associate editor of Remembering Jim Crow (New Press, 2001), her essays have appeared in Centennial Review, African American Review, Modern Fiction Studies, and Mississippi Quarterly. Professor Waligora-Davis teaches courses in African American and American literature and culture. Her research interests include critical race theory, immigration studies with a special emphasis on political asylum and refugees, black internationalism, and criminology. |
