She also shares in administration of and training for the university’s program that provides one-on-one assistance with student writing. In addition, her teaching includes participation in programs designed to prepare students for effective written and oral communication in the professions. An example is the collaborative program of Rice and Baylor College of Medicine known as the Baylor-Rice Honors pre-Medical Academy. An ongoing research interest from early in her career is the study of dramatic works in Middle English as well as the general development of drama in the medieval period. |
