ENGL 401
Advanced Fiction Writing Workshop
Instructor: Cronin, Justin
Thursdays 2:30-5:30
Limited Enrollment

A follow-up to English 301, English 401 functions primarily as a workshop of original student fiction.  The course assumes two things: you read serious fiction; you are serious about writing fiction and want to hone your craft. Each week we will read, write about, and discuss two or three short stories. Enrollment is selective and limited to 15, and you MUST come to the first class meeting, when guidelines will be given out for applying for admission to the course. Prerequisite: English 301.
