ENGL 304.2  Introduction to Poetry Writing

Introduction to Poetry: This class is designed to introduce you to
the pleasures and difficulties of writing poems in a workshop setting. We will read and critique the poems of each student, as well as read and write about the poems of professional poets.

Please do not buy any books before attending the first class meeting and, if possible, bring a sample of your work to that
first class or a letter explaining why you want to be in the class.
