Stan Cone has 30 years experience in the engineering and construction industry, primarily in the upstream oil and gas sector. He is currently a Director in Houston. Mr. Cone began his career with Fluor in Houston as a Process Engineer in 1972. In 1979 he became Managing Director of the Crest Engineering/Sime Darby Joint Venture company, Sime Crest Sdn. Bhd., in Kuala Lumpur Malaysia where he resided for 7 years.

Mr. Cone also served as Regional Manager for the Far East and General Manager of Process Engineering for Brown & Root in Houston and spent 3 years in Singapore managing construction and operation of an FPSO for Combustion Engineering. He held several positions at Fluor Daniel including Director of Upstream Technology and Engineering Manager for Fluor Daniel Williams Brothers. Mr. Cone holds a BSChE from Texas Tech University, an MSChE from the University of Houston and an MBA in International Business from Rice University where he was elected a Jones Scholar. He is a member of AIChE.
