State-level data can be downloaded by choosing the "Databank" and selecting "state level data".     GIS Clearinghouses by State A comprehensive list of all GIS clearinghouses throughout the US. Mostly free resources.     The Kaiser Family Foundation's State Health Facts database Detailed health-related information for all 50 states. Raw data can be found and downloaded by clicking the "Resources" tab on the main webpage.     NASCIO State Search Topical clearinghouse to state government information on the Internet.     National Institute on Money in State Politics Campaign contributions data by state, sector and individual.     National Network of State Polls (NNSP) A data archive of state surveys and a wide variety of polling data done in the states.     Odum Institute for Research in Social Science/Harris Data Archive National repository for Harris national poll data.     The Pew Charitable Trusts Resource Library State Policy and Performance.     Pew Research Center for the People & the Press The Pew Research Center is a major center for the study of public opinion and regularly conducts polls about various social and political topics and contemporary issues. They make many of their studies available for download here. Many of the more recent datafiles are in SPSS format. Users are required to register before downloading a dataset, but registration is free.     Promising Practices by state This project aims to enhance public health preparedness for an influenza pandemic and conserve resources by sharing promising practices (more than 130 practices).     (RICE-ONLY) Regional party shares for President, Senate, and House starting in 1850.     Social Science Data Analysis Network (SSDAN) Creates user-friendly data discovery and display tools based largely on data from the 2000 Census and Kids Count indicators compiled by the Annie E. Produced by the Bureau of Economic Analysis.     State of the Cities Data System (SOCDS) The Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) has produced SOCDS to provide quick access to tabular data for social, demographic, and economic variables at different geographic levels.
