*33% of 2% of a sample of 313 students really means 2 out of 6 students in the cohort - the numbers are too small to be significant.

Given current resources, some of the above students can be placed in existing language classes. It is estimated, however, that additional sections of foreign language courses would have to be offered -- all of them at the 2nd year level and 2/3 of them in Spanish. To teach these courses, 3 additional lecturers or their equivalent would be hired. No additional tenure track faculty are needed.
