Riding the Bus or Light Rail helps reduce pollution!
In a survey taken by 219 students at Rice, we discovered the following things about Rice's relationship with transportation:
Students who have used Light Rail:
Yes: 68.5%
No: 31.5%
Students who have used METRO Busline:
Yes: 28.3%
No: 68.5%
Frequency of Public Transportation Use:
Never: 26.9%
A few times per semester: 40.6%
A few times per month: 29.7%
A few times per week: 1.8%
Daily: .9%
This means there is a lot of room for improvement!
