The best learning experiences may be had through internships and study abroad programs, while scholarships can make these options possible for most students. Below is a compiled list of such programs and sources of funding that may help simplify your search for environmental experiences. Here you will also find environmental career resources.

Rice Students' Environmental Experiences - learn about internships, jobs, volunteering opportunities, research projects, and other experiences that other Rice students have undertaken.

Study Abroad

If you are a Rice student and plan to do an off-campus program you must speak with Rice Academic Advising to arrange for a leave of absence and transfer of credit. Academic Advising can also help you locate the program that best meets you interests.

Environmental Internships & Careers

Rice Undergraduates can contact the Center for the Study of Environment and Society for assistance finding an environmental internship.
