If you already buy your paper from Rice Delivery Services or Ikon, we recommend Weyerhauser 30% recycled, which is $40 per case from RDS.
If you already buy your paper from Office Depot, we recommend either Office Depot Brand recycled paper at 3.33 per ream or Boise Aspen30 for $25.30
An audit was conducted to determine the amount of recyclables being thrown away in Department Copier Rooms and Offices. Five departments were audited in the in the initial survey.

Approximately 70% of all trash in Rice copier rooms could be recycled!
A general correlation was found between the distance of the recycle bin from the copier and the amount of recyclables that were not recycled.
Also, many faculty members did not seem to be aware that envelopes and colored paper could be recycled. Please see above for a complete listing of recyclables.
