Our mission is to discover and develop nanomaterials that solve biological and environmental problems and to transfer this knowledge to educators, students, commercial users, and the general public.
How do we do this?
Research which is interdisciplinary and centered on solving the complex problems associated with preparing functional nanomaterials in practical and environmentally friendly ways.
Entrepreneurship Education which forms a community of professors, industry partners, students and entrepreneurs well equipped to take our Center's efforts into the commercial arena.
Community Outreach which develops a cadre of involved and motivated science teachers who help create an educated workforce as well as inspire students and ultimately their own peers to learn more about science and technology.
