Director

Prof. Suzanne Kemmer continues as Director of Cognitive Sciences.

Advisors

The new undergraduate advisors for Cognitive Sciences are Mike Byrne (byrne@) and Jim Dannemiller (dannemil@). Prof. Dannemiller will advise students who are following the neurosciences concentration and Prof. Byrne will advise students in the other tracks.

The Cognitive Sciences advisors will take major declarations and will advise about courses on an ongoing basis. Majors are advised to see an advisor once a semester, particularly before the registration period, when deciding on classes. No signatures or PINs are required. The advisors will help students keep track of their progress in the major. However, students are ultimately responsible for making sure they satisfy all major requirements (including getting transfer credit properly authorized if it is used as a requirement).

Major approvals

Major approvals are carried out by the program Director early in the semester in which a student is graduating. If there are issues in the satisfaction of the major requirements that have not been cleared up by the beginning of your last semester, please see Prof. Kemmer.

Steering Committee
