UNDERGRADUATE STUDENT NEWS:
- Howard Chao has received the 2006-07 Ann and
Joe Hightower Superior Award in Chemical Engineering. This is
the highest academic award of our department and recognizes a
graduating student for outstanding academic scholarship and service
to the Department of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering. Click here to

- The team of Howard Chao, Roxanne Perez, Kim Wolf and Brandon
Zuniga won the 2006-07 W. W. Akers Senior Design Competition.
The Senior Design Competition is held annually in honor of Professor William
W. Akers who inspired many seniors in the creative art
of process design.
- Minkay Yu, a junior CHBE student, won the Outstanding
Undergraduate Teaching Assistant Award for her work in CHBE 303 in 2006-07.
