Best Buddies is an international nonprofit organization that aims to enhance the lives of people with intellectual disabilities by providing opportunities for one-to-one friendships.

Our chapter on campus works in partnership with The Center located on West Dallas. In addition to monthly group parties (bowling, scavenger hunts, picnics), each Buddy pair is encouraged to meet on their own time and keep close contact through letters, phone calls, and emails.

Best Buddies is a year-long committment so we encourage new members to join in the beginning of the academic year. However, non-members are always welcome to our group events– the more the merrier, we say! We even have several events held on campus.
