Tonight's rehearsal was easily the best it's ever been. All the worrisome little problems of pacing were nailed down, and sure there were some line flubs, but the energy and the rightness of the performance were wonderful.

Tech stuff is just about nailed down too. We have a place for the sword to hang on the wall, and we have a great thunder-sheet for III,3. At Sasha's suggestion, we brightened up the set for the country scenes with some vine greenery and flowers, which worked very well and made a great differenec.

A funny mishap in IV,4:the clothes switching took rather longer than it should have, so that when Camillo said to Florizel, "Have you done there?" Florizel still hadn't got his pants on. Camillo's save: "Nay, you shall have pants, but no hat." Our cast is definitely skilled at getting out of unexpected situations. (Like missed entrances. You know who you are.)

It was a good rehearsal. If we can open this well tomorrow, it will be a good thing.
