About Us
Jo Mai Anime has been a part of Rice for almost a decade. Our goal is to further Japanese art, animation, and culture and their exposure to the Rice community.
The club meets once a week, and everyone, official
members or not, are free to attend whenever they feel like it.
The club also plans other events, such as special viewings or other events in the Houston area.
Location
Anime club usually meets in Rayzor Hall room 123 during fall and spring semesters.
If you need help finding the location, then go to http://www.rice.edu/maps/maps.html. If you scroll down the building list and click on Rayzor Hall, the map will show you where it is. Room 123 is on the opposite side of the building from the staircase, or in other words, it is on the side of the building nearest the Humanities building. If the doors should be locked (which happens usually after 7:30 or so), just knock on the doors near the Humanities building at we will let you in.
If you need to park in visitor parking, there is paid parking relatively close at the Founder's Court. Free parking is on the other side of the stadium, but our free shuttle service can take you to Rayzor if you ask for the Rayzor stop (make sure you get on the "inner loop" bus, not the "graduate apartments" or "rice village" buses). The above link shows where both parking spots are. More information can be found here.
