What is Pack It In?

'Pack It In' is a one-to-one program that aims to provide you with information and support to help you to quit smoking. With Pack It In, you will develop a quit plan and quit date. This gives you plenty of time to prepare to stop smoking and ensures that you are equipped to give up smoking successfully.

Our Nutritionist provides dietary education for all Rice Students focusing on healthy eating for normal development, as well as specific physical conditions and athletic training.

QuitNet.com - Provides “quitting tools” which help you understand what drives you to smoke, where you are in the quitting process, and how dependent you are on nicotine and how to successfully deal with the urges, cravings and relapse issues. Helps you set a quit date and uses your responses to questions to customize the support provided via email & chat rooms.

How to Quit (CDC Resources) - The CDC provides practical information and helpful tips for those who plan to quit smoking, quit tips and the clinical practice guidelines which are based on the latest research and insights provided by the nation’s preeminent smoking cessation experts.

Quit Smoking Support - This site allows you to talk with and read how others have been able to quit and provides you with the most helpful and up-to-date information and resources available in a very interactive web site. Support is an important ingredient in the quitting process and you will find plenty of that here!

Quit Meter - Calculates cigarettes not smoked and money saved since your quit date.
