CORRUL
Welcome to the Center on Race, Religion, and Urban Life -- also known as "CORRUL." Through research, student training, and outreach, CORRUL aspires to understand urban life and improve relationships between the many racial, ethnic, and religious groups that make cities their home.
Mission Statement
CORRUL advances knowledge in three dynamic, interconnected dimensions of 21st-century society—race, religion, and urban life. The center serves as hub for internationally distinguished, interdisciplinary research, learning, teaching, and policy development. Much of this work necessitates forming cooperative, mutually beneficial relationships with communities, and producing and disseminating knowledge that contributes to the betterment of urban society.
