SOUNDSPACE / VOICEMOVEMENT
our dj's sample, collage, restructure music, create space of sound which travels.
video projection (file "ocean", file "birds", file "kite") streams light through the space, a vista for recital
the woman on the bench explores the flexibilities of words. the dancer remembers five movements and their senses. the singer intimates the landscape, samples the spoken words in the stream of light through which birds drop out of/into the frame.
voices forming intractable synchronicities which spit flesh into restructured architectures of music. aural fields that ebb and flow. fecund moist subconscious passing of images that (were) formed in the mind or the muscles and projected, vibration passing down the sequence of tidal waves.
design tools: rendering the same ideas in a different language from the original, which original? - which notes, meters, tones, lines, colors, geometrical forms, movements, wordintonations, inflections, and refractions? hands spinning making music.
